RSPCA Mission Statement, Vision & Values

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a charity operating in England and Wales that promotes animal welfare. The RSPCA is funded primarily by voluntary donations. Its patron is Queen Elizabeth II.

RSPCA Mission Statement

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals mission statement states that its mission as a charity is, by all lawful means, to prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate the suffering of animals.

RSPCA Vision Statement

Animals rescued by the RSPCA are treated, rehabilitated and rehomed or released wherever possible. Where it is not possible to rehome or release an animal the RSPCA may consider humanely euthanizing the animal.
